Punta de Mita, Mexico
A luxurious resort village on the Pacific coast of Mexico, Punta Mita is a picture-perfect summer destination. Punta Mita has it all: two Jack Nicklaus golf courses, delectable fine dining and beautiful beaches. According to Susurros del Corazón, Punta de Mita also boasts some of the most unique geological features, such as the Playa Punta de Mita. Try your hand at surf-casting if you’re feeling adventurous. Alternatively, the Makawe Spa is sure to satisfy if relaxation is more your speed.
This former whaling port is now the quintessential New England summer destination. Tour the Nantucket Historical Association’s Whaling Museum to gain a deeper appreciation for the island’s historical legacy. Then, explore downtown and do a little shopping. You’ll recognize names like Lilly Pulitzer and Polo, but smaller boutiques, like Blue Beetle and Jewelers’ Gallery, are hidden gems. Most of the island’s beaches are open to the public, but it’s worth the trek to Siasconset Beach to stake out a quieter spot.

According to Best of Oahu, the resort is surrounded by beautiful walking trails and 5 miles of beaches. Learn how to surf with excellent resort instructors.
